십성이란 무엇인가
십성(十星)은 사주팔자에서 일간(日干, 나 자신)을 기준으로 다른 천간·지지와의 오행 관계를 분류한 10가지 개념입니다. 이 10가지 별(星)은 각각 특정 성격·에너지·사회적 역할과 연결됩니다.
십성을 이해하면 사주 결과에서 "재성이 강하다", "관성이 많다" 같은 표현이 어떤 의미인지 파악할 수 있습니다.
The Ten Gods (十星) are ten archetypal energies in K-Saju, each defined by the relationship between the Day Master (일간) and another element in the chart. They describe personality traits, relational dynamics, and fortune patterns.
KFT의 사주 분석 결과 화면에서는 연주·월주·일주·시주 8글자와 지장간까지 포함한 전체 오행을 일간 기준으로 하나하나 대조해 십성을 산출하고, 비겁·식상·재성·관성·인성 다섯 그룹으로 묶어 막대 차트로 보여줍니다. 어느 그룹이 두드러지는지에 따라 신강·신약 판정과 용신 방향이 함께 결정되므로, 십성 분포는 사주 해석에서 가장 먼저 확인해야 할 지표 중 하나입니다.
KFT's result screen compares all eight characters — including hidden stems — against the Day Master to compute each Ten God, then groups them into five categories (Peer, Output, Wealth, Officer, Resource) shown as a bar chart. This distribution feeds directly into the strong/weak determination and Yongshin direction, making it one of the first things to check when reading a chart.
십성 분류 원리
오행 간의 관계는 크게 다섯 가지입니다.

"양 일간 + 양 요소"는 같은 음양, "양 일간 + 음 요소"는 다른 음양의 조합입니다. (음 일간의 경우 반대로 적용됩니다.)
예를 들어 일간이 갑목(甲木, 양)이라면, 같은 목(木)이면서 양인 인(寅)은 비견, 같은 목이지만 음인 을(乙)은 겁재가 됩니다. 반대로 일간이 을목(乙木, 음)이라면 갑(甲)이 겁재, 을(乙)이 비견이 되어 음양 배치가 뒤바뀝니다. 이처럼 십성은 오행의 상생·상극 관계뿐 아니라 일간 자신의 음양까지 함께 고려해야 정확히 판정할 수 있습니다.
For example, if the Day Master is Gap-Wood (甲木, yang), the branch In (寅, also Wood and yang) becomes Bigyeon, while Eul (乙, Wood but yin) becomes Geopjae. If the Day Master were Eul-Wood (乙木, yin) instead, the assignment flips — Gap becomes Geopjae and Eul becomes Bigyeon. Correctly classifying a Ten God requires considering both the elemental relationship and the polarity of the Day Master itself.
10가지 십성 각각의 특성
나와 같은 오행·같은 음양. 형제·동료·경쟁자를 상징합니다. 독립심과 자존심이 강하고, 자기 방식을 고수하는 경향이 있습니다. 강하면 고집이 세지고 협력이 어려울 수 있습니다. 사업, 독립 직종, 스포츠에 어울립니다.
Same element, same polarity as the Day Master. Represents peers, siblings, and rivals. Symbolizes independence, self-reliance, and competitive spirit.
나와 같은 오행·다른 음양. 비견보다 더 적극적이고 공격적인 에너지를 가집니다. 재물을 빼앗는다는 의미가 있지만, 강한 추진력과 결단력의 원천이기도 합니다. 경쟁, 투자, 사업에서 승부사 기질을 발휘합니다.
Same element, opposite polarity. More aggressive than Bigyeop. Can indicate financial risk but also strong drive and competitive edge.
내가 생(生)하는 오행, 같은 음양. 먹고 즐기는 삶, 풍요를 상징합니다. 예술적 감각·창의력·언변이 뛰어나며, 낙천적이고 여유로운 성품입니다. 음식, 예술, 문화, 교육 분야에서 두각을 나타냅니다. 여명에서는 자녀를 상징합니다.
